Tech Spotlight Topic presenter Rob Simopolous, Co-Founder of Defendify, shared his experience “Launching a Tech Startup in Maine.”

Rob discussed his experience and process launching Defendify, a local startup that makes cybersecurity possible for small business. The group learned about Defendify’s wins, challenges, and journey from idea to inception to current state. Defendify has been a Portland, Maine-based company from the beginning, and Rob and business partner Andrew Rinaldi are proud to have worked with many exceptional organizations such as MTI (Maine Technology Institute), FAME (Finance Authority of Maine), and MVF (Maine Venture Fund), as well as other entrepreneurs throughout the state.
