MAINE TECHNOLOGY USERS GROUP ANNOUNCES NEW LOCATION FOR THE UPCOMING ANNUAL IT SUMMIT & TRADESHOW, STATE’S LEADING CONFERENCE FOR TECH COMMUNITY
The nonprofit Maine Technology Users Group (MTUG) will be held at the University of New England’s stunning new building, Innovation Hall, and is expected to draw more than 200 technology professionals, managers, and enthusiasts from all industries and sectors for a full day of education, networking, and more.
The IT Summit is Maine’s largest business technology conference with 12 educational sessions, 23 vendor booths, and ample time for the expected 250 attendees to explore a broad range of IT topics, products, and services.
The Summit agenda features a series of eight exclusive workshops throughout the day, designed to revolutionize your approach to key business challenges. Technical experts will delve into cutting-edge topics, such as cybersecurity, AI agents, technology trends, and more.
This year’s Keynote Panel Discussion will dive into the application of AI for businesses and ways to best prepare your business for its use. “The Disruption of AI: How Businesses Need to Adapt For the Sake of Their Employees,” will be moderated by MTUG Vice Chair, Fred Brittain of Information Systems and will feature panelists Brian Bousquet-Smith, Head of Operations, MedRhythms; Simon Ferland, Director of Data & Systems, University of Maine; John Harrington, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, HighByte; and Scott Fortin, Enterprise Architect, Maine Community College System.
Admission is $65 in advance and $85 on the day of the event. Special rates available for students in technology programs, and active / retired military. Fee includes workshops, tradeshow floor access, continental breakfast, lunch, and door prizes.
