JUNE 2, 2025 (Portland, Me) – Ashley McCurry, Community Manager at Defendify, has recently joined the board of directors. Ashley brings over 12 years of experience in leadership and fundraising success. As a Community Manager, she’s at the forefront of utilizing AI and innovative marketing techniques to cultivate thriving online communities and promote crucial cybersecurity awareness.

In addition to her role on the board, she will also serve on the Public Relations & Outreach committee.

FEBRUARY 18, 2025 (Portland, ME) – Maine Technology Users Group (NETech) announces its newly elected officers for 2025.

Tonia Dupler, Founder and President of MaineTech Consulting, will continue to serve as Board Chair.

Fred Brittain, Vice President of Cybersecurity at Knowledge Services, has been elected Vice Chair.

Julie Spugnardi, Co-owner of Bootstrap Marketing, has been elected Secretary.

Uli Stewart, a Chief Talent Advisor at Vantage Point Consulting, will serve as Acting Treasurer.

NETech is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to bringing IT professionals and business leaders together to network, educate, and share technology experiences. It hosts an annual conference, the Summit, as well as several networking and educational events throughout the year
